An Unconventional Business is one that doesn’t follow the rules and allows you to live the lifestyle you want.
Most of the businesses I have started are what you call information marketing. Put simply, information marketing is selling information to those people who are seeking it. Typically, the idea is to educate someone and hopefully solve a problem that your potential customer is having.
– Teaching someone how to take five strokes off their golf game.
– Showing a dog owner how to housebreak their puppy.
– Helping someone start a side business.
The information can be delivered electronically usually by eBooks, audios, videos or a combination of all three. You can also send physical books, CDs, and DVDs.
Now, while it’s easy to start an Unconventional Business and become an information marketer, it’s also easy to make some mistakes and end up wasting your time, spinning your wheels and even worse losing money in the process.
I want to share with you some of the mistakes I have made and that others can fall into.
